The Machine

Tired. Wired. Stressed.

Buzzing phones, browser tabs, and blue light keep your nervous system in overdrive.

Notifications follow you from your desk to the dinner table. You check one thing on your phone but lose 30 minutes. Your body is exhausted, but your brain never gets the message that it’s time to rest.

So you go to bed wired, wake up tired, and spend your downtime scrolling instead of recharging.

Over time, the cost adds up: lighter sleep, shorter attention, chronic stress. Your productivity wanes, priorities slip, and relationships suffer.

You don’t need more apps or hacks.

You need to reset.

“" What exactly have I just signed myself up for?" is running through my mind as I walked in the front door. The only floating I'd done was at Sandhollow. Let me just tell you, hands down one of the most relaxing spaces in southern Utah!!! The young gal at the front desk was so patient with me answering all my questions and making sure I knew what to expect and what to do. The float tank itself was like an oversized luxury hot tub. The super high ceilings and squeaky clean tile makes the whole experience feel classy and overly pampering. I very rarely get time for just myself and this was the perfect ambience to give me time without anyone asking anything of me so I could just relax. 1 million times better than any spa day, not complicated at all, and worth every little penny. If you lead a stressful busy life this is definitely a practice to consider.”

“I surprised and celebrated my sweetheart for his birthday by scheduling a couple's float session. We were very impressed with the layout design and environment here. This was our first float experience and it was a relaxing and meditative experience. We both commented afterwards that as the time in the session passed, we noticed layers of thoughts peeling back and our minds sinking further and further away from the details and distractions of day-to-day life. It was an experience that aligned us in body, mind, heart and spirit. In this stillness, Peace emerged. We spent an additional hour sharing and just "being" in the Zen room. I recommend everyone try this at least once!”

“First time floater as of a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked! I've made it a weekly self care practice to unwind and decompress. My float experiences have all been so different but beneficial all in their own way. Mostly helped with my back and neck pain and overall better mood and outlook on life. This place is perfect for relaxing, meditating, contemplating and overall just getting back to center. The owners have really thought of everything! (also a sweet art gallery-with inspiring art all over this place!) stop in to check it out! I'm sure you'll love it too(:”

“Highly recommend! World-class experience! The amount of detail that has gone into the design of this space is amazing! From the quality and sound of the music in the relaxation room to the artwork, the floors in the shower room, the lighting in the float tanks, and the fact that you can turn off all sound and lights and float in complete silence and darkness. You have the option to have colored lights on or off while floating with the touch of a button. Took about 15 minutes to fully relax because I had never floated before, but it took no effort to float, was very relaxing, and an experience I would recommend to everyone.”

“Floating Perfection!

If you want to try out your first float or establish a regular routine (which I would!), this is the place. Having done floats in the past, I can wholeheartedly say that the True North Float team truly nailed the experience. From squeaky clean rooms, modern, spacious tanks, extremely friendly staff, to the tasteful interior design - I was satisfied the second I stepped into the place. The eye for details to make yours the best experience possible is remarkable.

I had the pleasure to float for 3h and experience a depth of relaxation I could hardly remember - tensions from many months left within minutes. My aches and pains were gone as I stepped out of the tank. - a somatic miracle.

The tank I used was so spacious, it fit my 6 3" frame with plenty of space to spare. I felt comfortable at all times and not once boxed in.

I hope to be back asap! Thank you!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is True North Float?
True North Float is Southern Utah’s nervous-system reset studio near Zion. We offer float therapy, Fire & Ice sauna + cold plunge, Sojourn sound + red light journeys, Seeker, and True North Tribe memberships.
What is the First-Time Floater Intro Pack?
The First-Time Floater Intro Pack is a low-risk way for new guests to try floating: 3 floats for $111.
What do I wear in the float tank?
Most guests float nude because the suite is private and it’s the most comfortable option. You’re welcome to wear a swimsuit if you prefer.
Will I actually float?
Yes. The salt level makes the water so buoyant that your body naturally rests on the surface.
Is the water clean and how do you sanitize it?
Yes. Our float solution is filtered and sanitized between guests using ultra-fine filtration, ozone, UV light, and hydrogen peroxide. Guests also shower before entering the tank.
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, comfortable clothes for before and after, and anything personal you need to get ready afterward. Towels and shower products are provided for every float and Fire & Ice.
How long is a float?
Floats are typically 60, 75, or 90 minutes, depending on what you book. First-timers often start with the intro sequence.
I’m claustrophobic. Can I still float?
Yes, many claustrophobic guests do well because you are in control the whole time. You can keep a soft light on, leave the door slightly open if needed, and exit at any time.
Can I combine Fire & Ice with a float?
Yes. Fire & Ice pairs very well with a float, and many guests like doing Fire & Ice first, then floating afterward.
What is the Seeker 28-Day Quest?
Seeker is a 28-Day Nervous System Reset & Digital Declutter that helps you own your phone, train your brain, and find your time. It combines weekly floats with a guided course, community support, and integration.
