Designed for couples, partners, or close friends, this journey combines contrast therapy with float therapy to help you release stress, reset your nervous systems, and reconnect without the noise of the outside world.

What Is Fire & Ice?

Contrast therapy is a natural medicine for mind and body.

Fire & Ice combines a cold plunge and a cedar sauna in a private suite with showers and a changing area. Move between heat and cold to wake up the body, challenge the mind, and support recovery.

Our cedar sauna reaches up to 185 degrees, and the Japanese Ofuro-style cold plunge stays between 45–50 degrees with constantly circulating water for an extra chill.

Partner Float Therapy

Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy [REST] involves floating effortlessly in 12 inches of very salty water. The float environment is quiet, dark, temperature neutral, and nearly gravity-free: the perfect space to block out the noise and illuminate the inner world.

In a partner float, two people share the same spacious float room and float tank. You can rest in silence, listen to the underwater soundscape, or simply enjoy the rare experience of being still together.

Preparing for the Journey

If this is your first time floating, watch this short video before your visit.

• Arrive 15 minutes early for orientation if this is your first session with us.
• Do not apply oils, lotions, perfumes, or anything with a strong fragrance before your float.
• Do not shave the day of your float. Salt can irritate fresh cuts or razor burn.
• You cannot float after recent hair color, and we recommend waiting a few weeks after a new tattoo.
• No bathing suits are required. We provide towels and shower products. Bring a brush if you have long hair.

Use the Luminary Lounge for a pre-float intention ritual and post-float integration.

Pre-float

• Journal your intentions, engage with the tarot, burn incense, or drop into your own spiritual practice.
• Do your Fire & Ice session before your float. We think this is the perfect pairing.
• Optional: eligible returning guests may choose a sacrament to illuminate the journey.

Post-float

• Use our prep area before stepping back into the world.
• Journal your post-float reflections.
• Enjoy a refreshing beverage in the Luminary Lounge and connect with another soul.

Our Float Rooms

All private float suites include a spacious 6' x 8' float tank, two showers, and a changing area. Perfect for a partner float or a solo journey.

Infinity: Open-style float room with no enclosing wall or door to get into the tank. Recommended for guests with claustrophobia or mobility concerns. ADA friendly with a shower bench, extra grab bars, and a wide bench for entering the float tank.

Odyssey: Cabin-style float room enclosed with a glass door for entering and exiting.

Voyager: Cabin-style float room enclosed with a glass door for entering and exiting.
