The quiet, low-stimulation environment helps your body and mind rest and reset. - **How long is a float?** Floats are typically 60, 75, or 90 minutes, depending on what you book. First-timers often start with the intro sequence. - **Do I need to know how to swim to float?** No. The water is extremely buoyant because of the Epsom salt, so you float effortlessly on the surface. - **Will I actually float?** Yes. You’re welcome to wear a swimsuit if you prefer. - **I’m claustrophobic. Can I still float?** Yes, many claustrophobic guests do well because you are in control the whole time. Pregnancy is personal, so if you have complications, a high-risk pregnancy, or concerns, please check with your healthcare provider first. - **How often should I float to see benefits?** Some guests feel a shift after one float, but consistency usually works better. We often recommend a short series, like the First-Time Floater pack or Seeker, so your nervous system can build a rhythm. - **What if salt gets in my eyes?** It may sting, but you can rinse with the fresh water provided in the room. Try not to touch your face while floating, and dry your face before entering the tank. - **Will my ears get wet?** Yes, your ears will likely be in the water. We provide earplugs, and many guests use them for comfort. - **What is Fire & Ice?** Fire & Ice is a private sauna + cold plunge contrast therapy session. You move between heat, rinse/rest, and cold to train resilience and support recovery. - **How long is a Fire & Ice session?** Fire & Ice is typically a 45-minute contrast therapy session. - **How hot is the sauna and how cold is the plunge?** The sauna is usually around 180–190°F, and the cold plunge is usually around 45–50°F. - **How long should I stay in the sauna or cold plunge?** Go at your own pace. Many guests use 10–20 minutes in the sauna and 1–3 minutes in the cold plunge, but you should exit any time you feel dizzy, faint, unsafe, or overwhelmed. - **Is Fire & Ice safe for people with heart or blood pressure issues?** Fire & Ice can strongly affect heart rate, circulation, and blood pressure.
